CVL-201: Explore Vocation Across Career

Program
Credits 1
This course will integrate vocation-based content from a variety of primary sources and will consider how understanding the broader concept of how a person is motivated can help in selecting a major and pursuing a career. In CVL 201, students will take the PathwayU assessment to discover their personal strengths, interests, values, and preferences as applied to a variety of potential majors and careers. Class assignments will involve understanding vocation as it is broadly defined, as it is generally understood at UPIKE, and specifically applied in students' lives. This course is appropriate for any student currently registered as "undecided," any student considering a change in their major, or any student wanting a deeper understanding of vocation.
