This course is a continuation of THR 152 and include techniques of performance relevant to musical theatre. Students will prepare new scenes and songs from representative musicals. In this course students will apply knowledge of theatre elements such as movement and acting as well as musical aspects such as singing and vocal production into performance ready scenes and songs. Students will work with both theatre and music faculty. This course will culminate in a public performance of prepared scenes and songs. Prerequisite: MUS 152 and THR 152. Prerequisite or Corequisite: MUS 153.
