This course will include techniques of performance relevant to musical theater. Students will prepare scenes and songs from representative musicals. In this course students will apply knowledge of theatre elements such as movement and acting as well as musical aspects such as singing and vocal production into performance ready scenes and songs. Students will work with both theatre and music faculty. This course will cuminate in a public performance of prepared scenes and songs. Prerequisite or Corequisite: MUS 152.
