Students are entitled to the basic rights and privileges of U.S. citizens. University of Pikeville students are expected to obey all federal, state, and local laws. In addition, they are expected to obey the rules and regulations established by the University. These specific regulations are contained in the University of Pikeville Student Handbook which is located on the University of Pikeville website for all students to view and understand. It is the policy of the University that no student shall be excluded from participating in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination in any program sponsored by the University because of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, age, handicap, or national origin.
