A course designed to build the vocabulary of students who are enrolled in or are preparing to enroll in a medically related program of study. Students will become familiar with specific prefixes and suffixes, which will enable them to deduce the meaning of unfamiliar scientific and medically related words. Students will also become proficient in navigating scientific and health related websites. Does not count toward a major or minor in Biology.
