An introduction to the culture of western civilization from the Baroque period through the 20th century. Emphasis is placed on the interaction between art, music, literature, and philosophy and the cultural ideals in each period which gave rise to particular works in each area. Prerequisite: ENG 112 or WRI 118. This course fulfills the Cultural and Global Place requirement in the General Education Curriculum.
