MUS-304: Instrumental Methods I

This course is designed for music education students who are working for P-12 Music Education certification. Students will be required to demonstrate a basic playing ability on strings and percussion instruments. In addition, the course will deal with the principles and specific problems in each instrument family, and students will be expected to demonstrate the basic concepts and procedures used in teaching instruments to beginners. Prerequisite: MUS 226
