This course addresses security issues for TCP/IP-based and NT networks. Access control and communicatoins security issues will be covered as well as Internet and intranet security. Awareness of key information security principles regarding information, confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Key aspects in computer and network security, including some appreciation of threats, attacks, exploits, and vulnerabilities. Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in ITM 110 or permission of Instructor.
