This course is for students who wish to perform in the University of Pikeville Rock/Popular Music ensemble. The ensemble is a modern band format and performs concerts, special events, and gigs in the community. Instrumentation can include bass guitar, guitar, keyboard, percussion, vocals, and wind band instruments. Auditions are held during the first week each semester. Music is selected based on the instrumentation, make-up of the group, and performance opportunities. This course can be repeated multiple times.
