LS-570: Employment Law & Workplace Regulations

This course examines the legal framework governing employment relationships and workplace regulations. Students will explore key topics such as employee rights, employer responsibilities, discrimination, wage and hour laws, wrongful termination, and workplace safety. The course covers federal statutes such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, as well as state-level employment laws. Students will also study the legal processess for resolving workplace disputes and the role of regulatory agencies in enforcing labor standards.
