This course will explore the concepts behind games, and the digital art and multimedia media needed to create them. Drawing on their cultural and personal experiences, students will learn to develop game assets in 2D and 3D, and basic visual scripting. Students will learn creative multimedia tools to develop games and gaming experiences with cutting-edge visuals. This course will enhance students' ability to work with digital art and complex software as they explore their creative voice in the 21st century. This course fulfills Personal Place requirement in the General Education Curriculum. Cross-listed with ART 155.
