Students will learn how and where to minimize waste and expenses in organizations by applying the concepts and techniques taught in operations management to improve quality and efficiency. For managers to make informed decisions for improving the planning, scheduling, and controlling of a firm's operations; they must understand process analysis, quality, productivity, workflow analysis, project management, inventory management, capacity analysis, etc.
