Laboratory to accompany Principles of Biology I lecture. Laboratory work provides hands-on activities to teach laboratory skills and support the concepts presented in the lecture. Lab activities will include investigations of the metabolic processes of respiration and photosynthesis, mitosis, and basic genetics principles. Three hours of lab per week. Prerequisite or Corequisite: BIO 153. With BIO 153, this course fulfills the Physical and Natural Place requirement in the General Education Curriculum.
