This is a laboratory-science survey course designed for those planning an elementrary or middle-grades education major. The course employs integrated inquiry-based instruction focusing on content that will be encountered on the required licensure exam. Five hours of combined lecture and lab per week. Prerequisite: MTH 100 or placement beyond. Does not count toward a major or minor in Biology. This course fulfills the Physical and Natural Place requirement in the General Education Curriculum.
