Students wanting to be admitted to a major must contact the Registrar's Office. Students admitted to a major will be assigned an advisor by the University Registrar or designee. Though students who have previously expressed an interest in an academic field may have been assigned a faculty advisor within that discipline, they are not admitted to the major until processed in the Registrar’s Office. Please note that admission to certain majors/programs requires a separate application and admissions process for acceptance (i.e., Education (teacher certification); Nursing (Associate and RN- BSN); Social Work (BSW and MSW).
